All Saints University proudly offers a dynamic and industry-focused Medical and Diagnostic Imaging Program, designed to prepare students to become skilled radiographers and imaging professionals in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers worldwide. Whether you aspire to begin your career with a Diploma/Associate Degree or pursue advanced training through a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree, this program provides the academic foundation and clinical experience necessary to excel in the growing field of Allied Health.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Flexible Study Options: Choose between a 4-semester Diploma/Associate Degree or an 8-semester BSc. degree.
  • Blended Learning Options: Attend classes in-person and/or online, with clinical rotations conducted onsite.
  • Accelerated Completion: With three semesters per academic year, students can complete:
    • Degree in 3 calendar years
  • Hands-On Clinical Training: Practical experience at the affiliated international hospitals.
  • Advanced Transfer Opportunities: Students with previous studies in Life Sciences or Radiography may receive advanced standing or transfer credits.
  • High Career Demand: Graduates are eligible for employment in medical imaging departments, hospitals, and clinical laboratories around the world.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants to the Medical and Diagnostic Imaging Program must meet the following criteria:

General Entry (High School Graduates):

  • Minimum of five (5) GCE Ordinary Level credit passes or equivalent
    Must include:
    • Mathematics
    • English
    • One science subject (Biology, Physics, or Chemistry)
    • Two additional subjects
  • CSEC Candidates: Minimum grade 3 or better in the above subjects

Advanced Standing Entry (Degree or Diploma Holders):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life or Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology), or
  • An Associate Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Radiography
    …may be eligible for transfer credits or advanced entry into the BSc. program (case-by-case evaluation).

PROGRAM OPTIONS & DURATION

Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Medical and Diagnostic Imaging

  • Duration: 8 semesters
  • Completion Time: 3 calendar years
  • Eligibility: High school graduates or life science degree holders seeking advanced career options in imaging
  • Outcome: Prepares graduates for professional roles as Radiographers with opportunities for further specialization in advanced imaging modalities.

CLINICAL TRAINING

Students benefit from comprehensive clinical practicum rotations conducted at:

Students enrolled in the BSc. or Associate degree program in Medical and Diagnostic Imaging will be able to attend classes in-person and/or online and practicum conducted at MCMH, St. Vincent or at our other affiliated teaching hospitals in other countries.
